Supplemental Figure 5 shows that the levels of Shh, CD133, mushashi-1 and SOX2 were higher whereas the conversion of LC3-I to LC3-II was lower in Shh over-expression GBM compared to that of control. These results suggest that over-expression of Shh promotes cancer stemness and GBM tumor growth. The gene discussed is SOX2; the disease is glioblastoma.
