Our study reported: 1) a status of significant hypomethylation characterizing three specific fragments of the unique 5’-UTR CpG island (B, C and F) in HLA-G gene of control vs CHD patients with CS≥50%; 2) a strong correlation of hypomethylation levels of the F fragment (+616/+777) and coronary Ca score between controls and CHD with CS≥50% groups (Rho = 0.57, p = 0.03). This evidence concerns the gene HLA-G and coronary artery disorder.
