We believe that these defects of signaling pathways were of paramount importance in the impaired healing process of chronic wounds in DM; (3) furthermore, we found that utilizing a miR-203 antagomir ameliorated the defects on the healing process in DM wounds; (4) ROCK2, MAPK8, MAPK9, and PRKCA might be new potential target genes of miR-203 when regulating wound healing process via the Notch and Wnt signaling pathways. The gene discussed is MAPK8; the disease is diabetes mellitus.
