Thirteen variables that indicated P-value ≤0.25 in the binary logistic regressions were marital status, monthly income, chewing chat, drinking alcohol, asthma, TB history in the family, CD4 cell count, Hgb level, BMI, functional status of the respondent, CPT prophlaxysis, WHO clinical stage and types of floor in the house were candidate for multivariate analysis. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and asthma.
