Cancers displaying unfavorable risk with high ALT (BRCA, SARC, and LUAD) may be regulated by the transcriptional factors E2F4, TFDP1, E2F1, E2F7, and SIN3A (FDR = 0.001) in the DNA repair pathway, including genes repairing DNA damage such as CENPI, CLSPN, TOPBP1, and MCM4 (Figure 4a). The gene discussed is CLSPN; the disease is cancer.
