Most notably, absence of SATB2 expression, focal expression of PAX-8, positive expression of MUC5AC and MUC2, and to a lesser extent, positive expression of CK20, strongly suggest that the tumor from patient 2414 is of the mucinous subtype of ovarian origin, rather than a metastasis from the colon, the appendix or the endometrium (Figure 3 and Figure S2) [62,63,64].
