CRP and acute kidney injury: In addition to mortality, we will evaluate other secondary endpoints and hypothesize that use of HCQ and TCZ will be associated with a reduction in the endpoints of an upgrade to the intensive care unit (ICU), need for invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV), acute renal failure necessitating dialysis, and reduction in D-dimer and C-reactive protein (CRP) on the 7th day of hospitalization.
