Compared to patients with paroxysmal AF, those with persistent AF had lower LVEF (55.3 ± 12.0% vs 63.1 ± 9.1%, P < .0001), greater LAD (41.2 ± 6.3 mm vs 37.7 ± 5.6 mm, P = .0001), and higher BNP level (118.0 ± 151.4 pg/mL vs 64.9 ± 118.9 pg/mL, P = .0092).
