SMAD3 and cancer: Using the c2 reference gene set as a control gene set for GSEA analysis, we found that high risk score phenotype can be enriched in Myc, Wnt, SMAD2, SMAD3 nuclear, RB1, E2F, and TEL pathways, as well as transcriptional activity of SMAD2, SMAD3, SMAD4 heterotrimer, fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2) alternative splicing, cancer meta signature, hypoxia, BRCA1 targets, and hematopoiesis signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) targets (Figure 11A‐L; Table S12).
