FUBP1 and neoplasm: Mediated by modulating expression of specific target genes including c-Myc4, p2112 and Usp2913, FUBP1 has been identified as a potent pro-proliferative and anti-apoptotic factor that is essential for many biological processes in diverse cell types, such as hematopoietic stem cell maintenance and survival14,15 as well as neuronal differentiation and tumour suppression in the nervous system9.
