Our results support a hypothesis that transgelin interacts with PARP1 and regulates the expression of downstream key genes (CALM1, MYO1F, NCKIPSD, PLK4, RAC1, WAS and WIPF1), which are mainly involved in the Rho signaling pathway in the human RKO colon cancer cells. Here, CALM1 is linked to malignant colon neoplasm.
