Our results support a hypothesis that transgelin interacts with PARP1 and regulates the expression of downstream key genes (CALM1, MYO1F, NCKIPSD, PLK4, RAC1, WAS and WIPF1), which are mainly involved in the Rho signaling pathway in the human RKO colon cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene RAC1 and malignant colon neoplasm.
