More CD20-positive B-cells and less CD4-positive helper T-cells were present in the teratomas associated with anti-NMDARE than in the controls (CD20: p = 0.001, CD4: p = 0.009, Table 3 and Supplemental Table 2), but there was no statistical difference regarding CD138-positive plasma cells, CD3-positive T-cells and CD8-positive cytotoxic T-cells between the two groups (CD138: p = 0.521; CD3: p = 0.293; CD8: p = 0.386). The gene discussed is SDC1; the disease is teratoma.
