PLAT and stroke disorder: Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) accounts for about 80% of the incidence of stroke, causing serious economic and social burdens.[1] Currently, intravenous recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rt-PA) in the early stage is the most effective drug treatment for AIS.[2] Several randomized trials have confirmed that intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) within 4.5 hours of stroke onset improve the clinical outcomes of patients at 3 months.[3–6] Therefore, the cerebrovascular diseases guidelines recommend rt-PA as the first-line treatment for AIS patients.
