Submicroscopic deletions at Xp22.31 lead to the loss of STS (MIM: 300747) and ANOS1 (MIM: 300836) genes, which can cause X‐linked ichthyosis and Kallmann syndrome, respectively (Nagai et al., 2017; Quintela et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene ANOS1 and Kallmann syndrome.
