NOS2 and myocardial infarction: Cheow et al. (2016) found that leukocyte MVs (LMVs) and EMVs could promote the generation of thrombin during myocardial infarction, and led to the disorder of coagulation and fibrinolysis system. Laher (2011) found that MVs could regulate the relaxation of blood vessel after sepsis by inducing the generation of superoxide anion and inducible Nitric Oxide Synthase (iNOS) (Lovren and Verma, 2013).
