Indeed, overexpression of HSP90 has been observed in a variety of cancer types, including medulloblastoma, pancreatic, ovarian, breast, lung, and endometrial cancer, oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma and multiple myeloma, and high HSP90 levels are associated with poor prognosis in lung, esophageal and bladder cancer, melanoma and in several forms of leukemia (13). Here, HSP90AB1 is linked to medulloblastoma.
