In the multivariable logistic regression analysis, we revealed that each 1-year increase in age (odds ratio (OR), 1.08; 95% confidence interval (CI), 1.02-1.17; p = 0.018), a respiratory rate over 24 breaths per min (OR, 25.52; 95% CI, 5.48-118.87; p < 0.0001), CRP higher than 10 mg/L (OR, 8.12; 95% CI, 1.63-40.49; p = 0.011), and TnI higher than 0.03 μg/L (OR, 9.14; 95% CI, 2.66-31.43; p < 0.0001) were risk factors for the ICU admission of COVID-19 patients with CVD (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and COVID-19.
