CCL5 and retinal degeneration: Compared to WT retina, RCS retina contained 3.4-fold higher levels of CCL5 transcripts at P14 (Figures 1A,B) as compared to ~2-fold higher levels at P20 (Figures 1C,D), and P35 (Figures 1E,F), the previously recognized early and late stage of RCS retina degeneration, respectively.
