Numerous monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are used clinically to target IL-6 signaling (284), for example, the anti-IL-6Rα mAbs tocilizumab (285) and sarilumab (286), and the anti-IL-6 mAb siltuximab (287) are used to treat several diseases including rheumatoid arthritis and kidney cancer (Figure 7).
