It has been found for the first time that the increased expression of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) H19 leads to a reduction of cell-surface CD24, and that down-regulation of H19 helps to maintain the expression of CD24 on the cell surface, so H19 is thought to make a contribution to cell invasion by regulating CD24 expression, thereby regulating tumor immune escape (Figure 2) (69).
