AML patients also showed a significant decrease in the expression of DNAM-1 in conventional CD56− T cells (56 ± 11.8% in AML vs. 71.7 ± 9.7 in healthy donors; p < 0.001) and CD56+ NKT-like cells (65.9 ± 20.6% in AML vs. 79 ± 13.8 in healthy donors; p = 0.02) (Figure 1b,c).
