Kim et al reported that the expression level of SRSF5 was markedly up-regulated in lung cancer samples compared with normal lung tissue samples and SRSF5 showed the higher detection accuracy (89%) than carcinoembryonic antigen(74%)(CEA, a commonly marker of non-small cells lung cancer (NSCLC) 50. Here, SRSF5 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
