Compounds 7.4.12–14 exhibited moderate inhibition of PON1 with IC50 values of 0.832, 1.11, and 0.701 mM, respectively, and the inhibition of PON1 led to the increase of oxidative stress and oxidized low density lipoproteins, which enhances the risk of cardiovascular disease [40]. Here, PON1 is linked to cardiovascular disorder.
