In a comparative analysis among PET/CT with 18F-FACBC and PSMA-targeted agents in BR-PCa with PSA levels < 2 ng/mL [32], pooled detection rates for PET/CT with 18F-FACBC were 37% for a PSA level less than 0.5 ng/mL, 48% for a PSA level of 0.5–0.9 ng/mL, and 62% for a PSA level of 1.0–1.9 ng/mL, with significant lower detection rate of 18F-FACBC PET/CT compared to PET/CT with PSMA-targeted agents in the last subgroup of patients. Here, FOLH1 is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
