In vitro studies with flow cytometry, reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, and immunohistochemical analysis also detected strong expression of CXCR4 in hairy cell leukemia, T cell lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukemia, Sézary syndrome, angioimmunoblastic lymphoma, and anaplastic large cell lymphoma [32–39]. The gene discussed is CXCR4; the disease is anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
