Similarly, our study has found that mir-20b-5p targets both HMGA2 and E2F7 (both having a good frequency of genetic alterations in NSCLC, particularly in LUAD) and genetic alterations in HMGA2 and E2F7 may alter its 3′UTR site, consequently inhibiting miR-20b-5p mediated repression of HMGA2 and E2F7. This evidence concerns the gene HMGA2 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
