CSF1R and neoplasm: These drugs, suppressing tumor progression and/or metastasis, either block monocyte infiltration (e.g., inhibition of CCL2/CCR2 chemokine axis), repolarize TAMs (e.g., the blocking of CD47 or MARCO or stimulating CD40 or TLRs) or deplete TAMs (e.g., CSF-1R blockade or bisphosphonate toxicity) [51,54,55,56,57] (Figure 1).
