At the pathway level, by metabolomic analyses, we observed that several KEGG pathways were enriched, such as ABC transporters and carbohydrate metabolism-related pathways (e.g., the galactose phosphate pathway, starch and sucrose metabolism, pentose phosphate pathway, and carbohydrate digestion and absorption) after treatment with L. reuteri I5007 in colitis mice. Here, ABCG2 is linked to colitis.
