In mice with dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) or 2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid-induced colitis, MaR1 reduced leukocyte infiltration, inhibited neutrophil migration, and reduced the levels of the following proinflammatory cytokines: IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6, and INF-γ. Here, TNF is linked to colitis.
