KIF2C has also been identified as a putative oncogene that is highly expressed in breast cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, glioma, and non-small cell lung cancer (Nakamura et al., 2007; Ishikawa et al., 2008; Shimo et al., 2008; Bie et al., 2012; Gan et al., 2019). This evidence concerns the gene KIF2C and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
