RAF1 and colorectal cancer: Proteomics analysis and immunoprecipitation analyses indicated that PDCD6 is physically associated with c-Raf and subsequent assays revealed that PDCD6 promotes colorectal cancer development and progression by binding c-Raf and increasing its phosphorylation level, which is consistent with previous reports on the tumor-promoting role of c-Raf [13, 43, 44], indicating that c-Raf is an executor of PDCD6 in colorectal cancer.
