CD8A and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Interestingly, CD8+ T cell viability was decreased in the co-culturing system, and silencing of PD-L1 in NSCLC cells or PD-L1/PD-1 blockade by their corresponding antibodies significantly promoted cell proliferation (Fig. 8b), viability (Fig. 8c) and inhibited cell death (Fig. 8d-f) in CD8+ T cells, suggesting that NSCLC cells secreted PD-L1 induced CD8+ T cell death in the co-culturing system.
