We observed that loss of CHD4 impaired tumor cell viability in >92% of the cancer cell lines used in both datasets (in the combined RNAi database, 627 out of 712 cancer cell lines were sensitive to CHD4 silencing and in the CRISPR dataset 552 out of 558 cancer cell lines were affected by CHD4 knockout). The gene discussed is CHD4; the disease is cancer.
