Patients with coronary artery disease and Type 2 diabetes have impaired clearance of apolipoprotein (Apo) B48-containing chylomicrons (CMs) and higher plasma level of ApoB48 and triglyceride (TG) than people without these diseases (Masuda et al., 2012; Mancera-Romero et al., 2013; Tian et al., 2019).
