Based on the clinical rationale that establishment of an early diagnosis of NF-1 is necessary for patients with NF-1, and that these patients are predisposed to vascular abnormalities as well as tumor formation, the present study aims to evaluate the prevalence of congenital abnormalities of the retinal vasculature (CARVs) in patients with NF-1. The gene discussed is NF1; the disease is neoplasm.
