GLI1 and melanoma: Intriguingly, it appeared that the repressing effect of circ-GLI1 depletion on protein levels of both GLI1 and β-catenin was unchanged under CHX treatment but was evidently reversed in the context of MG132 application (Fig. 5a, b, Supplementary Fig. 2a, b), indicating that circ-GLI1 affected the expressions of GLI1 and β-catenin s in melanoma at post-translational level.
