We performed a series of high-throughput screens in seven 384-well plates containing cells from two GBM cell lines—the DNA-PKcs proficient U118MG cell line and the DNA-PKcs-deficient M059J cell line—transfected with a library of 2590 in-house-designed antisense oligonucleotides with reverse complementary sequences of the genome-wide human miRNAs (Fig. 1a). This evidence concerns the gene PRKDC and glioblastoma.
