Previous studies showed that, Calretinin, Wilms tumor protein 1 (WT-1), HBME-1, D2-40 (podoplanin), Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), Napsin-A and Thyroid transcription factor 1 (TTF-1) are immunocytochemical indicators for distinguishing malignant mesothelioma from lung adenocarcinoma [3,34,35]. The gene discussed is NAPSA; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
