LEP and Hepatic steatosis: Serum concentration of leptin (20.64 ± 22.02 ng/ml versus 9.97 ± 11.97 ng/ml) and insulin (15.81 ± 17.73 μU/ml versus 8.80 ± 7.07 μU/ml) were significantly higher in patients with hepatic steatosis compared to those without hepatic steatosis (P < 0.001).
