FMO5 and renal fibrosis: In regard to the relationship between NADPH oxidase and the cAMP‐PKA pathway, Qiao et al. (2017) have observed that intermedin alleviates unilateral ureteral obstruction‐induced renal fibrosis by inhibition of ROS, and in this model, the activity of NADPH oxidase is regulated with the pathway of cAMP and PKA.
