EZH2 inhibition by siEZH2 in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) cells could decrease the expression of M2 markers (TGFβ1-2, STAB1, Ym1, Lyvel, Fizz1, CD206, CD163) and increases the expression of M1 markers (TNFα and iNOS) in co-culturing microglia, which indicated that EZH2 in GBM cells promotes microglia shifting toward M2 phenotype. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is glioblastoma.
