There was also a suggestive association between genetically predicted IGF‐1 levels instrumented by the SNP in the IGF1 gene and prostate cancer, both in the PRACTICAL consortium (OR 1.33; 95% CI 1.02‐1.65; P = .01) and UK Biobank (OR 1.67; 95% CI 1.05‐2.65; P = .03). This evidence concerns the gene IGF1 and Familial prostate cancer.
