We also found that mTOR phosphorylation at Ser-2481, a specific marker of mTORC2 formation for the cyclic AMP (cAMP)/PKA signaling pathway in skeletal muscle [26,52], was also significantly increased in the heart of BO mice (Control (n = 6) vs. BO (n = 6): 100 ± 14 vs. 326 ± 291%, P = 2.6 x 10−2 by one-way ANOVA followed by the Tukey-Kramer post hoc test) (Fig 5A, S10A Fig of S1 Data). This evidence concerns the gene MTOR and bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome.
