NPPB and hydrops fetalis: Duckelmann et al. found that patients with ADMA and NT-pro BNP concentrations in the highest tertile had a 4.5-fold higher risk (95% CI 2.1 to 9.7; P < 0.001) for a clinical endpoint compared with subjects without ADMA > 0.64 mol/L or NT − pro BNP > 2512 pg/mL after 6 months follow-up [18], suggesting a better risk stratification with the combination of NT-pro BNP and ADMA in HF patient.
