One of our previous studies evaluated the relationship between 10 inflammatory markers and early-stage lung adenocarcinoma risk (12), and the results showed that four inflammatory markers were significantly associated with the risk of early-stage lung adenocarcinoma: CXCL13 (C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 13), CCL22 (C-C motif chemokine ligand 22), CXCL9 (C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 9), and IL-10 (interleukin 10). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL9 and lung adenocarcinoma.
