HNF4A and diabetes mellitus: Additionally, based on the effects of AFG on IDE and HNF-4α mRNA expression in T2DM mice liver tissue, it could be seen from Figures 7(b) and 7(d) that the IDE and HNF-4α relative genes expression of each treatment group was decreased to some level when equated to the STZ group, which clearly shows that AFG regulated IDE and HNF-4α and attenuated diabetes mellitus, and the difference was statistically significant.
