Importantly, this analysis revealed that neither BICC1 (MIM#601331; implicated in autosomal dominant renal dysplasia) nor LINC00844 (ENSG00000237949, Entrez: 100507008, a RNA gene recently described as a regulator of prostate cancer cell and invasion [Lingadahalli et al., 2018]) were disrupted by the inversion.
