ATM and glioblastoma: Because standard of care for glioblastoma patients was composed of two DNA-damaging therapies, chemotherapy (temozolomide [TMZ]) and radiotherapy [IR], and because the main protein implicated in DNA repair and treatment resistance is pATM [phosphorylated Ataxia Telangiectasia Mutated] which was decreased by TP5, we then analyzed the potential synergistic effect of TP5 with TMZ and IR.
