CRP and Hypokalemia: The deviations from normal laboratory parameters were observed in 23% (n = 44) of pediatric patients and these included hypokalemia (6%), leukocytosis (4.3%), metabolic (2%) or respiratory acidosis (2%) and elevated creatinine (3%), CRP (3%) and LFTs (3%), we also observed ECG deviations, such as prolonged QTc and presence of PVCs.
