In this regard, Slonchak et al. suggest that flavivirus infection and IFN-α treatment predominantly stimulate the miRNAs, such as miR-27a, miR-26a, miR-29B, miR-3614, and miR-664a, and their incorporation into EVs, which can regulate the host genes involved in the immune response, as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 5 [11].
