Accurately, in the case of DENV2, it has been described that viral infection activates human platelets via CLEC2 to release exosomes of 50–150 nm (Exo-L) that contains proteins, such as vinculin (VCL), calnexin (CANX), coagulation factor XIII A chain (F13A1), GAPDH, and tetraspanins CD9 and CD63, as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 4 [12].
